The company’s role in the project
involved consulting with the architects and builder, working
out the design and installation of the substructure and
unconventional cladding.
The entry portal to Sydney’s Cross City Tunnel was specified
in green Copper TECU Patina. The strict traffic management
limited the ARC roof plumbers to mainly install during the
night. ARC was working closely together with the builder to
achieve a minimal installation time. A high level of safety
was achieved thanks to a tight safety management. To safe
valuable time and minimise noise at night, many structural
elements were assembled off-site and craned and fixed into
place during the night.
