Blackwattle Apartments Glebe
ARC installed the roof cladding & wall cladding to this apartment block in Glebe in 2000, we then returned in 2004 to install new copper roofs to the balcony areas that were originally clad in timber battens.
ARC installed new plywood, stained to the underside, then new copper roofing in 0.6mm KME copper.
the biggest challenge was working in this additional works without a scaffold, this was overcome by the addition of a static safety line which our installers attached to with the use of a harness.
Strict OHS procedures had to be put in place to ensure the safety of all involved.
