When the Lane Cove project came to our office the natural choice was to manage the structural package, as well as fabricate all components offsite.
Difficult access to the tunnel entrys on the cross city tunnel has caused major problems gaining access to the facade.
Because all materials had to be fire proof ARC recommended using stainless steel longspan to the Lane Cove project, a trapezoidal sheeting as a medium to fix the copper cladding to instead of traditionally using plywood which is flamable.
All structural components for the Lane Cove project were assembled offsite and clad in KME Patina copper
Transport & cranage was also arranged by ARC and the only site work that was required was a week working off a boom lift to finish connection flashings
