The house shape and structure is taken from a sine curve, which leans its self to a roofing system that is flexible enough to accommodate the shape of the roof itself.
For this reason the natural choice would either be in zinc or copper angle standing seam system. Rheinzink was chosen and ARC worked with the architect for 12 months prior to onsite works. This enabled a full shop drawing package to be reviewed by the architect and once signed off work could commence.
The barge flashings were by far the most challenging part of the project, as they are made from 6 separate curved flashings of differing radii.
Over all we are thrilled with the out come of the roof & wall cladding package, and will look back on this project as one of our favourites of all time.
