St Margaret’s Development
ARC waqs engaged by the builder to project manage 3 separate areas of the re-development.
Firstly a team of steel fabricators worked with ARC designers & draftsmen to install several Cor Ten steel façades to the public space adjoining the apartments.
The second task was to re-create a copper shingle facade that the architect had seen in a magazine some years previously. The copper façade was used as a base for the clock. The copper used was 0.7mm KME Copper shingles fixed over plywood.
The third element of the package was to install a network of galvanised top hats and install them over a plywood & membrane roof & wall. Onto these top hats was fixed by 3M tape individually unique tapered aluminium sheets of 2mm Falzonal FF2.
