Rheinzink Bar top cladding - Sydney.
Bar top cladding in zinc which was bonded to the marine grade plywood and installing the pieces to the bar sub frame.
The corners of the bar top were soldered and the expansion of the zinc was dealt with by creating an expansion joint across the bar top and sealing this butt joint with a silicone sealer.
The bar top will take on a natural patina and will develop natural characteristics associated with zinc.
The external component to the project was to clad the awning fascia in Rheinzink H25 cassette panels fixed to a galvanised top hat sub frame.
